Helping Your Child Connect!
Hi, I’m Lisa Hartline, the founder of Hartline Connections. I am a Board Certified (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with a Masters degree in Special Education. I have spent the majority of my career serving families as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher - with early intervention always being my passion. Prior to teaching Special Education, I provided ABA services in a clinical setting as well as in-home.
I created Hartline Connections to bring together evidence-based practices with a warm, family-centered and neurodivergent-affirming approach. My goal is to make therapy feel like a natural part of daily life—empowering children to grow and parents to feel confident guiding that growth. I am so happy you are here; please let me know how I can help!
At Hartline Connections, we know children learn best when they feel joyful, engaged, and understood. We help children develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills through fun, evidence-based sessions—while empowering parents with tools and confidence to support learning.
Whether working directly with your child or guiding you step-by-step, we’re here to nurture progress, connection, and success for your whole family.
Hartline Connections uses a research-backed method called Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI), which blends the best of developmental science with principles from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Unlike traditional, highly structured ABA, NDBI is more neurodivergent-affirming and feels like everyday life—following the child’s lead, embedding learning into play and routines, and keeping each interaction meaningful and motivating.
Together with families, we help children build communication, social, play, and daily living skills while enjoying the process.
Individualized, play-based sessions focus on building communication, social interaction, and everyday living skills. Sessions are tailored to your child’s interests and needs, using naturalistic, evidence-based strategies that make learning fun and meaningful. Since collaboration is key, goals will be set that are right for the client and family. Currently all services will be delivered by a BCBA (AKA me)!
Collaborative coaching sessions are designed to give you practical tools to support your child's communication, social skills, at home, in routines, and during play. We model strategies, guide you step-by-step, and help you feel confident supporting your child’s growth.

Well, certainly! Please email me and I will be happy to send you more information.

Parent involvement is essential to a child's progress. However, it is not required at every session and will be designed to be manageable and appropriate for the client and family's needs.
Anywhere in the child's natural environment, typically in the home, daycare, private pre-school, and if needed, out in the community or online (as agreed upon, depending on need). For parent coaching, we are able to do online or in person.
